Bring it on?

I'd just say "oh, you wanna keep going?", floor it, and weave like no tomorrow.

My beliefs remain the same and I hope we all love the FT86.

I think that you think that anyone who gets the steelies option is going to actually use them all of the time and think thier hub caps from autozone are cool. For me i would get the steelies just because by the time i drive the car off the dealership im going to have wheels waiting in my garage ready to be mounted as soon as i get home. but thats just me

Ok I am sorry about the F Bomb, however dont tell me to keep my mouth shut kid, this is a forum, not a place for me to brown nose everyone about every topic that comes across the table, I have said what i thought about it and I am not going to get into it anymore, but this is a public forum, I was a over-reactive, I said my peace and thats all I'm gonna say.

Understandable, but you are still the minority in doing this. Most people that buy a car dont change the wheels right away, if ever.

BUt I can understand why you would want to have steelies if you are just going to swap them right off the lot.

I guess im the odd one out when I actually prefer steelies over most toyota OEM rims?

On the scion xA and xB all "alloy" options were heavier...sure they had a wider rim, but seriously toyota? Alloy heavier than straight steel? Ahhh

And as I have posted before, the widened steelie look is one of my favorite IF done right...of course.

Mk1-3 golf's look amazing with a good set of steelies/tires/suspension/fender work

Not that I plan on slamming this car, but I would NOT mind rocking OEM steelies in the winter with a set of blizzaks...I mean snow and salt make rims look horrid and for some reason the only rims that don't get altered that much by salt/dirt/snow are steelies.

Haha im about to get flammed

Unfortunately they are not having fun.

Unfortunately all forums get this "bickering" and for some reason everyone seems to be the antagonist.

So while it may be entertaining to some, I find it sad that lexicon has to endure all this. Sure he said stfu, but I think he was trying to avoid further confrontation and it backfired...

The STFU was on another thread.
Anyway, I'm having fun. Don't worry about me. I couldn't care less what some guy on the internet thinks about me.

I dont think they should be putting any steelies on their vehicles the first MY. Toyota will probably try to hype this thing up like crazy.. (I wonder why!)

and all they need is for these non internet nerds to go to the dealership and the model they see there is on steelies. To an average person that screams cheap.. especially if the car is 20k+. They dont want to be forced to have to buy rims.

I know you're going to say let the enthusiast have it. but yea, how many of us REALLY buy them? I know im not, i want the regular one

We need this car to sell. Let them sell as many fully loaded ones the first MY and then next MY they'll have motivation for TRD parts and blah blah.

This is a really great argument for having it as an OPTION.

I dont think it would be the steelies that are offered as an option, it would be the alloys. Therefore the standard most model would ride steelies, which just makes the model seem cheap to standard buyers.
