Yea, but the ESC tune is not very good with the ESC unarmed. The Stage 1 OFT tune pulled pretty good from 4000 rpm on. It's nothing like that with the ESC tune and ESC unarmed. It doesn't even feel to me as good as I remember stock was.

This was crazy... prior to installing the ESC and OFT tune, I usually averaged around 34-35 mpg on 60-65mph highway driving. I reset the Average MPG thingy and then drove 60-65 mph for 25 miles. (I realize those average estimates aren't terribly precise, but I would think it would be relatively accurate in comparison to it's own prior readings).

A few questions (sorry if they've been answered). Under the activation at 70% WOT, is there any noticable difference in driving?
Second, I remember one member had an ESC failure where he couldn't turn his car on. I believe this is different from the other guy who had a faulty controller which was replaced by Rob. Did anything resolve from this? Was it the ESC's fault? Third, how does the sound of the engine/exhaust change? Is the supercharger noticably loud? I am OFT tuned and I have that annoying aggressive VVT angle change that sounds rather metalic, is this still very apparent on pump gas? Lastly, any issues people are facing? I believe I read someone had a 500ms-1000ms lag but this is a non-issue imo. Anything else or complaints in general? I've heard the pros hundreds of times but I like to nitpick a bit =) Also since so many new memebrs are getting the ESC I am wondering on your impressions thus far! Please keep us proespective buyers filled in. When will the next shipments be available for purchase? I am finishing finals in the next week and would love a summer project

The restriction only results in a few hp penalty - at the very top end. Not enough to notice. Less of an effect then carrying a passenger.

If someone would like to chime in, I'd appreciate it. Would the fact that drag reduction is off be the reason for the apparently increased gas mileage?
