Since you're keeping your 17's for tracking, a 1 inch difference between front and back shouldn't throw off your balance (that you'll notice anyway) on the street. You'll probably notice more of a difference if the widths are staggered as well (wider rears = less oversteer), but again on the street it shouldn't make any difference unless you're driving like a maniac around the neighborhood.
My biggest nitpick would be the size difference in the wells (unless you're making your overall diameter roughly the same by using taller tires on the front). |

Yeah thats why i would have the 17's for track days, lower weight etc. i can also then have two settings for the coilovers. for driving to and from work, i just want it to look nice.

Tried a set of 235/50/18 (from the Forester). They will rub at both right and left lock on inner fenders. Ohh well, need to buy more wheels and tires.

+38 all round for me. I want a bit of stretch and was hoping someone has run 225s on 9.5 considering how many people purchased work Kiwamis in the group buy.

Thanks for your reply. I knew I'd find someone with that setup on here. Good to hear its not too grippy. What tyres did you go for? Are you running coilovers? Would highly appreciate it if you could take some snaps for me!
