Don't get me wrong, the Innovate is great for quick bursts of power, and it can sustain more power longer than the Phantom, but it's not suitable for hard canyon drives, or tracking.

Compare the size of the intercoolers, heat exchangers, and supercharger units between the Innovate/Sprintex, and the Edelbrock/Harrop, and it's very clear why.

Really? Seems like reading the instructions on both kits, the JR has fewer steps and generally seems less involved, but not having installed either I can't really comment other than that seems surprising.

My plans include a lot of track time, so I guess it's Edelbrock for me if I ever go FI. Still some noise at least.

Don't forget the Cosworth which has the biggest heat exchangers of all, coupled with a 4 pass radiator.

Problem with the sprintex is that its running at the ragged edge. With the 70mm pulley it hits max rpm at 7500revs. So its not spinning in it most efficenct range at all.

I don't ever say things I can't back up; I'm not bench racing here. Dynos only show what the car can make in one pull. Real world power delivery is not the same.

Ok I'll give you that I haven't raced both - but if you're talking about a properly tuned intercooled sprintex car on E85, those reach right up to 300rwhp with a nice fat torque curve. Even if it loses 50rwhp to heat soak after several runs, how could a stock car with just headers on 91 keep up? Due respect, but I don't buy it at all. Maybe they had a giant pulley on there?

Edelbrock has a much larger heat exchanger than the Cosworth. A 4 pass heat exchanger doesn't have a significant benefit over a 2 pass heat exchanger.

It loses more like half the output to heat soak.

I've driven well tuned NA cars making 190whp and an Innovate making 280whp on E85, for long enough for them to heat soak... I want whatever you are smoking.
