Wink Easiest way to get to the over-pipe? Doing an install...

So I have my cat-back all off, I pulled off the metal shielding under the engine bay, I need to jack up my car a little higher but it's on jack stands.

Just wondering if someone did the over-pipe install already and if you need to drop the header or what was the easiest way to get to it?

Thanks

If I recall correctly, people that replaced the overpipe by itself, (meaning it not Nameless setup that combined the overpipe and frontpipe into one piece) you can remove the shielding and wiggle it out without needing to lift the engine and not needing to touch the header.

You need to loosen off/remove the secondary catted pipe. Much easier than taking the header, as there is no wiring harnesses/o2 sensors attached to it.

Well I got the Agency Power one, so it's slip fit.

Got ya. I definitely need to jack this thing up higher. And airtools ftw

I installed my overpipe by going through the front then twisting and turning until it got through.. I did NOT need to lift the engine or remove the header.

I lifted the engine to do the nameless combo pipe. Just loosened the bolt on the passenger side of the subframe and jacked up the engine. Was pretty simple and made the pipe a breeze to install.

I jacked up the engine an inch or two, it's easy to do and made short work of swapping overpipes.
