Use it to punch holes in engine blocks from the inside.

While this is great from a research perspective, there wont be much benefit coming from it unless they just keep on it blowing motors, fixing what blew, rinse & repeat.

IF they do that enough times, then the knowledge of what make these engines "go boom" just might benefit us "mere mortals" at the more reasonable HP numbers to make them bullet-proof.

I run drag radials so the power goes to the ground. I have videos of me racing and beating a gtr. But got in trouble on here when i posted them so had to take them off so i wouldn't get banned. So with all the power i have i race cars way out of my class and smile when i beat them.

I find it comical when people think you cant use 500+hp in this car. If you set the car up right you can make even 1000hp usable. You just need to take the time and set everything up right.

In that case I agree with you 100%, the car in the OP will probly never see anything other then the rollers. Making that much power on stock engine is just for bragging rights, put it on the track or even the street at that power and you'll be calling the tow truck.

Oh I'm not saying that you can't use it. I'm just questioning if people are using it for races at stoplights or if these are people's weekend track cars we're talking about here.

I don't think I'd ever go past 300 WHP on this car, but I use it as a DD.

lol I can't drive with my traction control on... I warped all four rotors doing this. Eventually the ECU gives up and throws a good chunk of the dash lights on. ROFL!

Although it might work now that I have it dialed back to 14PSI... It has just become a ritual to turn it off otherwise I lose cruise control until I stop and restart the car. -.-

The problem is some cars are running crazy amounts of power and holding up fine, others are running very conservative numbers and blowing up. Both of the most part use the same tuners. It really does seem to just be the luck of the draw , and I'm sure driving style plays into it as well.
Willing to bet age plays a part as well. Just ASSuming many of the grenades are are the younger side.

There was talk it lasted 10 full power runs before blowing. This was on an Aussie facebook page though so i doubt people were talking from first hand experience.
