On a related note I called my insurance agent yesterday to see if my policy could be rewritten. I had 3 points come off my record last month.
I was told that, after he ran a simulation, my cost would increase if I had it rewritten now. He wasn't sure why, but thinks it's bc I had 3 claims within the last year. One totally my fault (bumped my dad's car from behind during some miscommunication ($2500 & 2 points) but the other two were 100% not! Rock chip on windshield from car traveling opposite direction on 2 way road ($90 repair) and someone scratching the hell out of my passenger door ($450 total repair). Stuff like that really REALLY pisses me off since I 1) always park in back of lots away from other cars and 2) I always stay far back from trucks to minimize the risk of rock chips.
