EDIT: Day 2

So, got the motor pulled a few hours ago with two buddies helping out.

We were cleaning up the bay and realized after 15min there wasn't much to be done... so... yeah.

These pics aren't final placement, but I had to sit back and take in how much room there actually was. I put the alternator and A/C on the motor and there's still plenty of room for everything.

The car will be a DD with full accessories since my wife will be driving it as well. Should be a very fun DD

isn't it amazing how well the JZ tucks in there on the XM mounts? have you had to drill out the trans u-brace inside the tunnel yet, or did you not have a trans installed when you test-fitted the motor?

also, mind snapping a pic of how much room there is for a downpipe? I'm curious for when I go big single.

For the V160/V161 you do have to cut the brace off completely. If your R154 is wider than the stock trans, then it will need to be removed as well.
