Back in post #10, there is a link which mentions Handybars for helping immobile people get in and out of cars. Maybe that would help with fingerprints, etc. I have not tried it, but I found it for about half price at amazon.

No, that was another thing called Caddies. This deal is like a (wrench) handle to fit into the strike bar or something.

Interesting this thread popped up because I was sitting in mine yesterday at a light and the thought came to me that it would be cool to replace the passenger knee pad, and the inside trim piece on the dash console, down to the center console with a piece that had an integrated hand hold in it, ala the C7 Corvette and some of the current supercars.

I know easier said than done....

They do have alternatives for hanging clothes. Not sure if they are available for our cars, or if they're universal.

EDIT: Found them on Amazon, universal. [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Travelon-Coat-Rack-Steel-Size/dp/B001CZP9RQ"]Car seat coat rack[/ame]

I'm a lawyer so I need to wear a suit every now and them, and the lack of factory coat hanger/ Oh Sh.t bars kind of pisses me off.

I've considered one of those coat racks but they are ugly as hell. Another problem is that there is so little space in the back that the jacket won't fit in the footwell behind the seat, so it gets all screwed up...

Damn, first world problems lol.

Love the thread. I've had plenty of complaints that there are no Oh shit bars (we call them that too) but really I just laugh at the person in the passenger and keep driving how I'm driving. I use the "gangster lean" method too. Helps brace you better

My DD is a modified Jeep JK with "O-SHIT" bars/handles/straps everywhere, mostly for reassurance. Have a sign on the dash: Keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times! Trust me, it needs to be there.

I have ridden as passenger in my BRZ. Didn't like it at all! Can't blame passengers for grabbing at things when the driver is pulling lateral Gs.

It's a driver's car, all the way. Heck, maybe I'll pull out the other seats.
