So since the replacement fuel pumps are exactly the same, would an aftermarket one fix the issue?

Has anyone tried putting additives like Marvel Mystery Oil

Did you stop driving your car, as well?

Assuming that Walbro makes a replacement, someone in this forum needs to be brave enough to tackle that task and use their car as a guinea pig.

If you can stand the noise. But if Toyota will replace it free of charge, get the pump replaced, that one may last you a thousand and a few hundreds than the current OEM you have. If the noise comes back, back to the dealer your car goes!

May be it's the freaking 10% Ethanol mixed in our CA gas. Are there any owners here who resides close to a population that generally has a lot of boat owners? Because gasolines sold predominantly in gas stations in the area have less or no ethanol mixed in the gas.

Bought mine roughly 3 weeks ago... Was only at 250 miles when I went to the dealer for LoJack install. The worker came up and asked me if I heard 'that'. Stepped outside and heard the chirp. He asked if I wanted him to take a look at it; I just said not to bother for now since I needed/wanted to drive my car now.

I'm now at ~600 miles and don't hear anything anymore. *shrugs* Was filling up with Shell. Just filled it up with 76 today. I'll keep an ear out for it.
