Yes they do. With an ADS ALCA from idatalink you car will not know the difference between being started normally and being remote started

The idatalink ALCA module does factory alarm integration. When you hit lock on the aftermarket remote, it is locking the doors, arming the aftermarket alarm, and arming the factory alarm. When you hit unlock (or pull use the door button if hooked up d2d) it will unlock the doors, disarm the aftermarket alarm, and disarm the factory alarm. When you remote start it, the ALCA simply sends a signal to the BCM saying "hey, go ahead and disarm the factory alarm but leave the doors locked" and the car is dumb enough to listen.

In short, the factory alarm does disarm correctly on the PTS cars, and, the regular key cars don't have a factory alarm unless dealer added.

A. The under dash is very limited space wise, plan where you are going to put things like the brain, bypass, extras.
B. Directechs lists keysense as required for remote start, but if using the ALCA it will do keysense for you and 2 keysense inputs confuses the car.
C. The ALCA will do tach signal for remote start, but, as our cars do the stupid Toyota style high idle when started cold, after the idle drops the remote start will think the car stalled even though it is just idling low. You need to go to the tach signal on the top pass side of the motor for a good tach signal.
D. The firmware for the ALCA as of 1/25/16 has some errors with the neutral safety and the parking brake output. Need to hardware this for reliability.

I can do a full write up soon.

My car is regular key manual trans. Auto trans is easier because you don't have to worry about the tach issues.

Push to start are actually easier too because the whole install is behind the glovebox and does most of it via data. Waaaaay less wires in PTS.

ever do that write up? Have a 2015 brz (manual/pts) and tired of setting the alarm off with pke
