I make sure I don't speed, or break any laws when I drive. When I find myself way over the limit, I make sure to bring it down to a reasonable speed because fuck tickets. Happy with my low insurance (relatively for a 23 year old) and don't want to ruin that

If I'm reading correctly, OP isn't really saying the car feels slow. He's saying that the car feels capable at all speeds, so that when you're going fast the car still feels like it can handle it. I know that feeling. Other cars start to feel more dangerous at higher speeds, but this one feels like you're still in complete control.
To me, it makes this car feel "fast" rather than "slow," even though I think we're experiencing the same phenomenon. It's all in your frame of reference. |

It's the exact opposite for me.
I constantly feel like I'm going 70-80 mph and look down to see a disappointing 40-45 mph. Especially with an aftermarket header. |

The more capable a car is, the slower it feels. I think it's because it generally takes more speed or g-force for it to feel like you're "pushing it" on "on the edge." Whereas in a less capable car, it doesn't take much to feel like you're pushing it or on the edge.
Highway cruising at 70mph in a 1000hp GT-R feels like you are literally crawling. |

I drive my car like a grandma as not to attract attention and have some jackass race me and prove I am slow.
Also I already got one exhaust warning

I'm the opposite. I just drive around however I want and if the jackass in the other lane thinks I'm racing, I don't really care, I just ignore him - I'm in my own world. IMO half the fun of this car is downshifting and using the revs. Our cars sound so good with a UEL header that it'd be a shame not to wind them out when opportunity permits.

Exactly! I love heel-toe and revmatching, even during normal driving. Just fun and it sounds great with the right exhaust.

I only ever (rarely) look at the tach or rely on sound, so I would imagine I'm usually on the far side of the speed suggestion sign.
