I sent the part back to the RacerX team and they informed me that recently they switched over to their own threaded part, made of chromoly. Very happy that the LCA's are designed like this, though. $20 part instead of a $250 new LCA. Estimator guy is coming out to the shop today to give me the lowdown. So far my bumper cover, both control arms, and some other tidbits took the damage. Also a little bit of rocker panel. Decided not to make a "OMG THIS JUST HAPPENED" thread because I need no sympathy. I didn't choose this life
