The parking brake input is pin #6 on the HU's 16-pin socket. You'll find that your FR-S did not have a factory harness for that socket -- as shipped, your car does not connect the parking brake signal to the HU.

See this page on my site: Subaru/Toyota 16-pin camera socket information

The Beat-Sonic harness has both a 16-pin plug and socket. Their harness passes through most of the pins from the car's factory plug to the HU.

Since your car didn't have a factory plug, the Beat-Sonic's socket remains unused. You can touch the #6 pin there.

Looking forward to seeing "before" and "after" pictures of your HU's Diagnostic and Camera Setting screens.

BTW, it turned out that the only parking guide lines you were seeing were from the Rydeen camera, not the HU, correct?

I figured it out. Also found a connector that wasn't plugged in. I've never had that kickpanel off so it must have been a weak push from the factory.
