Reminds me of the Tundra 1794 interior. Are you planning on getting either the handbrake boot and/or gear selector boot replaced with brown leather?
Sadly no. I began making phone calls and getting price quotes almost the same day I got my car. No one offers a "kit" yet. Almost all of the upholstery shops (including JPM coachworks) told me that they can do any component in any color, so it's certainly an option.

I'm probably going to stop right there for a while. I'm a little worried that if I start doing shift boots and arm rests and steering wheel bits it will start looking piecemeal. I want it to look OEM. If someone was to eventually offer a brown carpet kit I think that would look nice.

Lol. Right? It's kind of a love-it-or-hate-it thing. There were several upholsterers as well as my own Toyota dealership that tried to talk me out of it.

I'm the biggest fan of European dual-tone interiors, but I just don't really feel like our interior architecture lends itself to being broken up. I'm probably going to stop right there for a while. My other reason for stopping, and the one I sometimes forget about is that, however good these cars look, they ARE a $26k Scion.
I'd probably just add the handbrake boot to complete the look. The shift boot can stay black since it'll match the steering wheel and carpet.

I'd take brown over super bright red leather, which my dealership has done a couple of times...both on Prius liftbacks.

Not trying to offend. The CB interior looks absolutely awful. Time to call the UN for a war crimes tribunal.

This is actually the first time I've seen the CB. It looks a little strange to me, but maybe that's just the light. This Mahogany photographs completely different in various lighting conditions.

Not the biggest fan of them, but if you like them then that is what counts (I usually like the tan or cream colored interiors on most cars). I think it is really the brown seats with the rest of the black that throws it off for me.

$2000 doesn't seem that bad to me, I installed my Katzkin's myself and I can see where labor would skyrocket the cost. Nice to see fellow Katzkin owners, I think the leather just adds something to the interior.

I plan on going with perforated black leather with red inserts, with heating and ventilation. However, I'm concerned that the seats will be too slippery for spirited driving. Advantage: cloth. So I don't make a change yet.

Stupid comment. Don't mind him.

I think it looks great, and I don't normally like aftermarket leather although I do love brown (especially as it starts to wear). Good job!

I love it.

Glad to see someone finally reupholster the OEM seats with some color.
I personally will wait until my current seats start looking worn out so I have an excuse to get em fixed up lol. Never would have thought just brown seats on their own would fit in though.
