I understand that the apexi can be cleaned with compressed air and use more times ???
I've also seen a filter called AFE they say is washable .... but not if it will be very reliable when filtering dirt.
At the moment I think it will gain points apexi

The Apexi seemed to make the intake noise louder than the Cosworth, but then the Cosworth was at the end of its life. The Apexi seems to make as much, or even more power as the Cosworth. Having tried each one, I think I will stick with the Apexi.
+1

I just ordered my second Apexi. The Cosworth is just a name for the $7-10 price increase.

Just buy one you can clean. All this arguing over 2-3(or 4-5) HP that realistically will make no difference in a 2900 Lb. car....

Still waiting on AEM to make a damn drop in filter...

Oiled filters suck, especially for cars with a MAF. They also don't filter worth a damn (to the point where silicate levels are raised in the oil, go read up on it)

AEM is easily the best washable dry media out there, but I'm not a fan of their intake. Non-washable, Apex'i was head and shoulders above everyone years ago...
