I understand that the apexi can be cleaned with compressed air and use more times ???
I've also seen a filter called AFE they say is washable .... but not if it will be very reliable when filtering dirt. At the moment I think it will gain points apexi

I just ordered my second Apexi. The Cosworth is just a name for the $7-10 price increase.

All the same, just make sure u replace them when they reach their life expectancy. Since both can not be washed

Just buy one you can clean. All this arguing over 2-3(or 4-5) HP that realistically will make no difference in a 2900 Lb. car....

Still waiting on AEM to make a damn drop in filter... Oiled filters suck, especially for cars with a MAF. They also don't filter worth a damn (to the point where silicate levels are raised in the oil, go read up on it) AEM is easily the best washable dry media out there, but I'm not a fan of their intake. Non-washable, Apex'i was head and shoulders above everyone years ago... |
