World leading supercharger experts Jackson Racing are proud to announce their new supercharger system for the Scion FR-S & Subaru BRZ is now available from $3995USD. The Jackson Racing FR-S/BRZ supercharger system delivers an impressive 50% increase in HP and 45% increase in TQ over stock! The power and torque delivery of the Jackson Racing supercharger system gives the FR-S/BRZ the perfect balance of power and handling. The Rotrex C30-94 supercharger provides a strong and smooth power band, while also maintaining perfect drivability and excellent fuel economy. Also, the Jackson Racing intercooler system is unique in the FR-S/BRZ market and has been engineered for proper bolt-on fitment.

The Jackson Racing FR-S/BRZ supercharger system has been extensively tested in all weather conditions to ensure factory drivability, excellent fuel economy, and proper emissions are retained while giving a substantial boost in performance. This includes not only the components in the system, but the Jackson Racing ECU calibration. The provided Jackson Racing ECU calibration is the product of hundreds of hours of dyno testing and thousands of miles of road and track testing. The Jackson Racing developed ECU calibration features proprietary tuning developments giving the supercharger system drivability equal to a factory vehicle. No hesitations, no hiccups, no band aids… Just a completely solid car. And just like our CARB-Legal CR-Z and Civic R18 systems, the FR-S/BRZ system is CARB-Legal!

“We knew the FR-S/BRZ platform would be a perfect match with our powerful, fuel efficient, emissions legal supercharger systems. After the 15,000+ miles of drivability and durability testing we have been through with the FR-S/BRZ supercharger system over the past year, it is hard to imagine the car without it,” said Oscar Jackson Sr., President and Chief Engineer of Jackson Racing. “When you buy from Jackson Racing you get over 30 years of experience in building high quality performance products and Championship winning engineering. All our system testing includes long, hard miles on the street as well as racetrack abuse in the hot California desert. It is crucial for us test and abuse our products beyond even what our customers would. We drive our cars daily just like our customers, so our products must be built to the highest quality standards.”

Oscar Jackson Jr. adds, “Our FR-S/BRZ supercharger system is powerful yet drivable, making this car easy to drive at the racetrack. You can now steer the car with the throttle effortlessly and the power is seamless all the way to redline. The FR-S/BRZ is a great car stock, but once you drive one with the Jackson Racing system you realize this is how it should have come from the factory!”

I wouldn't recommend using the stock exhaust or the header with any kind of SC kit (except maybe ESC) and I have first hand experience at track (with Kraftwerks kit) .. Please search extensively (Kraftwerks or Jackson Racing owner's threads good be good reference points)..

If it's for street only, why not trying the ESC (electric superchargers), they are great for the money and can be even used for some light track duty

good luck with your project

Rotrex is a centrifugal system. Its just the manufacturer, like Sprintex, Eaton etc.

@914_WHITE_FRS with the amount of people saying Jackson Racing, Kraftwerks, and Rotrex in this thread, you should take that as a hint

I've heard there are minimal power gains to be had with after market exhaust. What about the stock exhuast makes you not recommend it?

It's a Centrifugal type supercharger, that uses a planetary gear drive. It allows for higher impeller speeds, letting the supercharger's efficiency get into turbo range.

I'd say the majority of the Jackson Racing owners still have their stock cats. The stock cats won't fail with a good tune (such as the CARB tune offered with the Jackson Racing kit).

There's a Sticky thread in this Technical Topics/Forced Induction section, at the top.

Supercharger Comparison: Innovate, Jackson, Kraftwerks, Vortech *Updated March 9 2014
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55705

Example from thread:
HP&TQ Curves of all Superchargers
Anytime someone asks "which supercharger is right for me?" in the forums, they are told "lol use search noob." If you search and find the power output of the different options, you get this jumbled mess.
Click this bar to view the small image.

I've seen several posts where guys were making pretty much same power, and in some cases more whp with stock header vs catless header on SC setups.

Doesn't make sense why, but there are Dyno graphs to prove it. Point being might not be much value in adding aftermarket header to SC setup. I'd put money towards quality overpipe-back exhaust with SC.

Lack of 5-6 hp is not the problem with the OEM header (cats specifically) and the front pipe, the problem is the restrictive cats that may cause safety issues such as backfire or melted cats that might sucked in to the engine, I think you should be fine with the OEM catback but I wouldn't use the OEM header and front pipe for sure..

Check my build thread and FI section

Mike, I had a good tune and I bet you did too but you guys still managed to destroy the OEM cats right?

Both of the tuners I spoke with recommended a freer flowing exhaust to eliminate back pressure and added heat.. Freeman was using another tune and his cats were also destroyed..

I'm pretty sure majority of the JR kits also don't see as many track days, I think the question is : " Is it worth to take risks associated with running OEM cats and say buh bye to your motor ?" When things go bad,
