Which supercharger kit Should I GET!!
I am planning on putting a supercharging kit in spring and I have a automatic.(please no troll) I am doing a unique project. I want to know which supercharger kit can give me at what HP and Torque with all stock no exhaust no nothing but supercharger kit thanks!
would like to hear everyone opinions on prices and gains on what is a better bargain! :iono: please share your thoughts thanks!' We out running the streets hitting them up burning them with the FR-S AKA GT86!!:burnrubber: :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: :thumbsup: |
Look at the Jackson racing thread for the power gains and whatnot. It was built to give moderate gains but so far is the most reliable, stock ready sc out there. Jackson racing has a carb approved kit that supports stock cars. Once you work on the rest of the exhaust you would need a custom tune.
FYI a lot of people are going to tell you to search and that there are zillions of threads like this already. Just sayin |
My vote goes to jackson, great kit, very reliable with good power gains and you can see great results with e85 and full exhaust.

Let us know if we can help :)

I have the sprintex stage two (auto as well )
I'm 30k miles deep (only street) and I've had not one single problem! Great low end torque! Than u add e85........ |
Why not turbo it instead? No belts, no oil to change in the blower, and it can be tuned for way more power if you're willing to build the block.

Is this thread for real or just trolling? From April 2013 on the forum, 352 posts and...
"I am doing a unique project"..."no exhaust no nothing but supercharger kit"..."We out running the streets hitting them up burning them with the FR-S AKA GT86!!"... Or I just forgot what is like being 17 years old? :) |

In terms of which kit, a nice rotex supercharger is probably going to be the best for power & reliability but a Sprintex setup is going to make a load more low down torque. |

OP: I'd also suggest the Jackson Racing kit, but I may be biased since I just bought one. The included carb tune is designed to be someone conservative for the sake of reliability, and it was designed for an otherwise completely stock FRS/BRZ. It'll bring you up to around 250-280whp. I know it's really tempting to want over 300+hp, but at that point, you will have to replace the injectors, fuel pump, clutch, etc. If you have the cash, then by all means go for it, but to give you an idea of what you can expect to spend, a good turbo build might cost you over $10,000 all in, while a supercharger will cost half that. But if this is a show car, a turbocharger might get you more street cred lol |
I'm going Kraftwerks C38 but mine is manual, I have suspension wheel and tire work already, and I don't drive my car much.
