As for the "review" part. Even lowered on sport lines, jack is low enough to get under. And the handle screw does strip. Since mine stays at home. I just tack welded the two pieces together lol
^ This. I got mine for $80. They are heavy though, wouldn't buy for track duty, only to sit in your garage.

This is a great jack. It is long and low enough to easily get to the central jacking points in the front and back. Could even get to the ones in my STI and those were much deeper.

Yep, happened on mine too. Other than that no issues. The action is still really smooth and the lowering/relief knob has tons of control.

Might have the get in on this deal, thanks!

The only thing holding me back from lowering my car is because my current jack barely fits underneath even at stock height.

Fyi, I know it's not a jack, but HF has their orbital polisher on sale for 29.99. Should be good for anyone that just wants a wax spreader

Is the 3 ton floor jack at HF too tall?

This one is listed at $92.99.

Talk about a business model! I think they just looked at crackheads and were like, umm... we can do this for toolheads. You buy five things you don't need, return one defective item and buy five more things you don't need. Return one defective... you get it.

It lists the lowest height right on the page. 2 7/8" for the one you just listed, vs 2 5/8" for the one that this topic is about. It's only a 1/4" difference, but when you are working on lots of lowered cars that 1/4" means the difference between pulling a car right in or having to drive it onto blocks before you can jack it up.

Got it, I'll see if I can wait for another sale for that 2 ton jack since I won't need it until next month.

God dammit. I hate harbor freight. I always complain about how shitty they are... then the door bell rings and I have another package from them.

Also to consider, the 3 Ton jack is not as long. The 2 ton is the only way to go. Fits under my GFs slammed RSX with lip kit (with like 1mm to spare when reaching for the front lift point.

Yes its taller and doesn't have as long of reach. I bought it on accident once because it was cheaper and supported more weight, I returned it for the right one. Got it for $109 back in November with a coupon.

My car is lowered on prokit and on 18" wheels and it clears my front lip with room to spare.

Highly recommend this jack. It's the only one that gets under my Five Axis FR-S with a 1.5" drop. The length of it alone makes it worth it.

(That's what she said)

I grabbed one of these as well and it is fantastic. I think the important thing to getting them to last is to get all the seals coated well by moving it through full extension periodically, whether there is load on it or not.
