Harbor Freight Low Profile Jack on sale $139

Hey guys, I have two of these jacks in my shop now and they work great. I just got my latest Harbor Freight flier and they are now on sale for $139.99 from $229.99. I think I paid $159.99 for one of mine, more for the other. If you need a new jack that will get under your lowered car, this is your chance.

The only downside with this jack seems to be the bolt that secures the handle to the body can strip out, allowing the handle to pull out of the body. I solved this with a dab of Loctite on the bolt when I bought it and I haven't had a problem since.

Also, there is only a 90-day warranty on this jack, so make sure you SAVE YOUR RECEIPT and try to make it break in the first 90 days. If it breaks after 90 days you can still buy another one, then return the broken one for a refund. I have owned three. The two I have now I have had for a year with no issues.

What area are you in? Down south they go on sale every couple of months for 80 out the door. I bought mine 3 years ago for 70 when our HF first opened. And got a flier last month showing them for 80 again.

As for the "review" part. Even lowered on sport lines, jack is low enough to get under. And the handle screw does strip. Since mine stays at home. I just tack welded the two pieces together lol

I'm in Portland, but HB's website is nationwide and in the past two years I've never seen this particular jack under $159.99 on sale. I know there is a cheaper low profile 2.5 ton jack that looks very similar, but this one is lower profile when collapsed which makes all the difference when your car is dumped.

Probably not the same jack at all. The 2 ton jack, this one, is the only one that fits under very low cars. The 3 ton goes on sale all the time, but no, not this one. Those bastards know this is the only jack the tuners purchase.

Other then the fact that this jack is heavy, and I have to lug it in and out of my house every time I want to use it, it works great!

I paid 160 when I purchased mine.

Agreed, I have three of these as well and they are fantastic. I also have 2 of the other low profile ones that look similar but have the straight handle rather than the "T" handle on the super low ones. They all work great and have been going strong for years and I use them literally every day in my shop.

I lost one of my big toe nails over one of these heavy bastards after managing to drop it on my foot haha. I was moving them to another shop and had them on a cart to wheel em all over to the new shop across the street and while pulling them off the cart, one slipped and crushed my foot. At least it was a softened landing for the jack. Moral of this story, do not drop it on your foot. It wrecks your day.

Ah, mine doesn't have the "t handle" but looks the exact same, 2 ton steel rapid pump. Fits under both my frs (lowered on sport lines) and my eclipse (lowered 2" on Megan springs with body kit) just fine. I'll see if I can dig up the stock number when I go by my parents this weekend.

Had this for my stanced car. It's a great floor jack. I think I got mine for $99.

Ouch! Yeah haven't hurt myself with it yet and don't plan on it. Once I get mine down the steps I drag it all the way around my house to my driveway. Loud as hell but safety first

They were on sale 2-3 weeks ago for $79.99 or $82.99 and they weight 77 lbs. Sign up for their e-mail and they have coupons that come with the e-mails. The regular 20% off coupons usually aren't good to use on the jacks though and they have specific coupons they send once a week or every other week.

Again, not the same jack. This jack weighs close to 100lbs.

The jack the op posted the lowest I seen is like $99. The $80 is not as long but works great. I'm waiting for the jack in op to come come down to the $100 range - think that coupon only gets releases twice a year or so.

DarrenDriven 07-31-2014 01:05 AM

I'm still pretty sure this one isn't the one that has been $100, but if it ever is then post it up and I will go buy a couple more!

Is there an aluminum version?
