Really impressive performance by Audi seeing as they had to change the turbo on both of their cars that were still running. Lotterer had some amazing laps when he was gapping the #20 Porsche shortly before it broke.

As always, Toyota chokes yet again! I've given up. I was absolutely looking forward to Toyota crushing Audi this year. Smh...

Toyota is to the Utah Jazz, as Audi is to the Chicago Bulls. Just can't seem to win it no matter how many years they make it to the finals.

I don't get it.

Real cars: Audi in the shop, Toyota dead reliable.

LeMans: Toyota reliability sucks.

Maybe because of all the broken Audis the techs have more experience fixing them?

I mean they cooked and replaced their damn turbos ffs. That's hardly an example of durability. Just that they are experienced with broken turbos.

Argh...

Wasn't paying too much attention this year as the Euros have been perpetually c0ckblocking Toyota for years, last minute battery storage rule change last year that killed their strategy. Don't know what it was this year.

But how about Nissan in the next class? Engines swept 1st-5th.

Congrats Nissan.

You know what else was phenomenal? The way the Toyota #8 was driving like an idiot and took out a front running GTE car and the Audi #3 car in the first 3 hours of the race. It should have been an Audi 1, 2, 3.

I went absolutely bananas when that damn idiot crashed the #8! He was going WAY too fast for the heavy rain conditions on dry slick tires. Toyota should've won this race though. They always play their cards wrong or suffer reliability issues.

What is even more phenomenal is how unreliable road Audis are compared to race Audis.

Do not want Audi turbocharger. Fails in less than 24 hours. On the plus side you can change it out in under 17 minutes.

I think these LMP1-H cars are getting too complicated for their own good.
