Your thread title is misleading. No car has X place until it has finished the crossing line, until the 24 hours are gone.

The Audi is a 4.0 liter and Toyota a 3.7 this year.

I'm still rooting for Porsche, personally...

Levi 06-14-2014 07:03 PM

I hope Toyota maintains its pole position. Unlike Audi and Porsche, Toyota has no joker. Maybe the Toyota nr. 8 can catch up. Le Mans so much better than F1. Well, anything is better than F1.

F*ck! Just got up and see that Toyota #7 is out. Toyota #8 has caugth up with LMP1, but not sure it can be thrid in the 5 hours that are left. Shit happens. I hope they can get third position, until the race is not over nothing is decided, not even for the two Audis.

Toyota needs to win 24H Nurburgring with both cars.

Man this was the year for Toyota! :bonk: I guess they were having mechanical issues and had to drop out.

Even if the Toyota #8 get 4th, it is ok, it must by all means finish the race. At least it will get some points. It is not yet over for Toyota this year. They should not give up, and I'm sure they won't. With Lexus RC F GT3 to compete against 911, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Corvette next year...

Levi 06-15-2014 06:45 AM

Nice, now Porsche has pole position, knowing Toyota can't win this race any more, I'm now for Porsche to win it.

Levi 06-15-2014 09:14 AM

Two Audi leading, Toyota on 3rd. Toyota please hold on till the end.

Levi 06-15-2014 10:08 AM

Audi 1st and 2nd, Toyota 3rd. Really sad for Toyota, but the way Toyota #8 caught up from 33rd place to 3rd is phenomenal. Kudos to Porsche for having finished the race with one car at least. Well, it is hard to beat Audi, they have so much experience and so many resources going to their endurance race programe, and as we see it pays off.

Looking forward to double vicitory of Toyota at 24H Nurburging.
