Well done! The rubber ring should eliminate the rattle which the Cusco drift button produces w/o the spring. So, I decided to leave the spring there to avoid this annoying rattle and now have to unscrew the button and take it out every time when the "drift mood" comes (in fact - forgot when I did last time). Perrin product should be much better than Cusco I believe just because of this minor but crucial improvement - I will likely buy it to replace the Cusco one.

How firm does the button feel? No chance of it accidently releasing if slightly bumped?

The ratcheting mechanism of the parking brake lever keeps it locked in place when the parking brake is set. All the button does is release the lock so I think you be good as long as you ensure the button is pulled out and the lever is locked when you want to engage the parking brake.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if I understand it right.. You push the button in, and you can freely move the brake up and down without pushing anything. You flick the button up a bit, and that locks it so you can park.

Something else I really like on the PERRIN button is the size of the end it's a little larger than the normal drift button. It also really feels quality, and it has an indentation at the end where your thumb will go so your thumb doesn't feel like it's going to slide off.

Only thing is seems like if there was a small disturbance the thing would unlock and then release the brake, the spring keeps the stock one pushed out.. Might get this and leave the spring in
