My point is you can take a seasoned touring racer and put them in a dirt oval sprint car, and watch hilarity ensue.
All that grip gives you bad habits, and once you get in to high HP to weight cars you will wish you had those all rubber ice race skills.
Wow. Just wow. Thank goodness you don't live anywhere near me or those I love.

This is the cheapest best sport to refine your driving skills, it is called Ice Racing.
This class only uses non studded winter tires with unmodified Chevettes.

Then goes on the "Americans..." tangent. Quality poster, 100%, 10/10.

I said "american" but you are making me consider different. I should have said people who have never sized winter tires.

Yes tool status like your Facebook.
Some people use the internet to get questions resolved, while other simply us it to boast.

I wish i could afford to have a Facebook account...

But seriously, your going on about a different driving style and dissing people about not liking it. Kinda a pointless battle.

Putting someone down? Who?

Back on topic:

I want some skinny performance tires to practice agility cone driving.

My style is to train my reflexes with my 86. Not drive it to the store. That's what my Honda does best, gets groceries.

Sadly they are not RWD. You need too much speed to flick a FWD around a pylon. An Speed is not agility.

When the R8 first came out it was auto only and you felt like you were not connected to the road at all. Keep in mind that high end manufacturers make their money off guys with more money than reflexes. They cant afford to have all their Lambos end up in the wreckers. So computers are used solve that problem. For example the GTR: all weight, all computers. Two attributes that are unsuitable for those with driver input at heart. Thank goodness for the lotus 7.
