Dunlop Direzza slippery when cold

Anyone know proper P.S.I for the FRS ?

Mine seem to take forever to stick on a cold autumn day.

They are slipping because they are summer tires. If your temps are near freezing, you need to swap to winter tires before you crash on those summer tires.

I've got 255/40 crammed onto 17x8s, so I'm running 40psi all around.

If they are Z1 star specs they are only rated down to 50 degrees. Any less than that they will not stick. They dont even reccommend storing them in freezing temps.

Yep - Happens at just below 50. They do stick after about 20 minutes of running though.

Just be careful. I totalled a track prepped 09 STi with star specs in near 50 degrees temps due to loss of traction. Even though they rate them near 50 degrees doesnt mean that it is wise to. lol.

27mpg ish stock tune vs 24.5 mpg on stg1(driving like a maniac)

not bad since I have lighter wheels and heavier tires than stock, and grippier
side wall plenty stiff at these pressures
most of my driving is up at speed, once they warm up, pressures end up higher. I would advise 2 psi higher for the local driver or someone who does mixed driving. Everything is 80mph p to 120mph for these psi settings, great for tracking in the heat.

I may need to mess with my PSI. I'm running 35 all around on 245s 17x9.

Thanks for the heads up about the 50 degrees. It doesn't get cold like htat all the time in south texas, just have to take it slow.
