Mine is ice cold. I set to recirculate and upper and foot vents. If I turn off recirculate it will use the outside hot air and just can't cool as well. But lately I just drive windows down. Used the A/C maybe twice with windows up.

Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro, can you tie them in a knot, can you tie them in a bow...

Same here. Here are my normal settings. OK today is the coolest it's been in quite awhile but I use the same setting when it's 97 degrees.

What color is your car? Mine is silver (Argento). Of course if your car is black then tough luck. Black looks really nice when it's clean but it has it's issues.

Also, if the car is parked in the sun then whenever you start it, run it with the windows open for a minute to release the built up heat. Trying to let the aircon deal with it is not going to work.

But yea, anything fluctuation past 3 degrees F is something you can feel.

52 is not cold enough. IIRC you should see low 40's at the vent. Google the question and see what you come up with.

I park my car in the shade, use reflective window shades, and put the windows down a couple inches here in So Cal and don't have a problem with it getting too hot inside. But, as was said, if it is super hot inside open both doors fully and start the AC to get the superheated air out and the AC down to temp before you get in.

I agree, my car isn't blowing cold enough, that's why I took it to the dealership. The temps were with recirculation on.
Can't seem to come up with anything on Google, most people only talk about the temp they set it at, not the actual temp coming out of the vents.

If you have a link for actual temps, or know the actual range of what the FR-S and BRZ should be blowing, that would be really helpful.

Temp at the vent should be 40-42F, even with ambient temps in the high 90s.

I leave it on auto at 65 and the vents blow cold enough to numb my hands

I also got this off of AutoZone website. Should be a general idea of how Outside Humidity and Air Temps translate to interior cooling temps.

I found that the accessories belt will sometimes slip, not all the time, causing the AC to not not blow cold intermittently. Something worth checking. Also when this slippage happens the idle mayb dip suddenly.

My AC blows cold air very inconsistently. Sometimes I may as well just roll down my windows. I took it to the dealership twice and they haven't found anything wrong yet. But I wonder is it normal for the AC compressor clutch to engage on and off? I've done various searches and haven't found solutions yet but I found a video of someone overriding the fuse box and the AC clutch started to engage. Any thoughts on this?
