UPDATE: As a last resort I tried resetting the ECU/ECM and taking in on a few cycles. Besides from the first 8 mile drive, I haven't had the pending code pop back up in about 260 Miles (Week & 1/2). Not really sure why, I'm still waiting for it to pop back up after a long drive but I've tried putting myself in stop & go traffic, along with driving the car spiritually, but so far nothing. Will give it another week to see what happens.

Around 2 years ago, I went into limp mode at a couple of autocrosses and pulled this code. It stopped after I swapped from 0w20 to 5w30.
