JimmyMacs got it @Teseo the HKS is one of the quietest and best performing front pipes on the market and it's best to keep that. The proper option would be to change the catback section for something quieter

Your problem is the combination of the header with the front pipe.

Only true fix is a stock front pipe. Most aftermarket headers (including catted) will give you some drone with the HKS front pipe, because the HKS front pipe was meant to be used with stock headers.

It was the same issue before I installed the Frontpipe. I bough the dual res HKS hoping it'd help

then you already solved your problem... would've been helpful to know that the issue is purely isolated to your headers in the original post to filter out noise in responses.

I just bought some UEL headers and am looking for a quieter exhaust to solve the issue

go back to stock muffler and get some bigger tips if that's what you're in to. the stock muffler will still give you the noticeable UEL rumble and not annoy you

Alright I skimmed and saw no once suggested TRD cat back (used to save $). I run full catless and no resonators (other then the TRD catback one) and I am very very happy with it. under 3k rpm it is very quite and 7k rpm she screams. I would go see if there are any locals with a similar setup and listen to it. Also anything with a legit muffler (like TRD or HKS) will sound much better and quieter IMO

I have borla headers, quality is sub par for what I want on my car so I will be replacing them one day. I wont be buying borla ever again haha. That being said my standards are very very high. I got them for dirt cheap brand new so I went with them but I do regret it.

The problem is the catback.... Like I said, I ran the same headers and frontpipe. Swapping catbacks solved the drone problem.

I think I have a buyer in place for my GReddy so I need to get a new exhaust fairly soon

The drone isn't even my biggest issue its just the overall sound. I can't stand it
