Nicer Hvac knobs?

Has anyone created a replacement set of nicer hvac knobs that can replace the crappy looking stock ones? Can they be replaced?

Overall, his lack of prompt response and group buy stipulations makes it seem like he's just a random person with connections, selling parts to make money on the side. He obviously does not have his own money to front to pay for parts, hence the whole "pay up front and when group buy conditions are met, your parts will be made because I can pay for it" deal.

Is that an actual painted one, or photoshop? How do you even remove them?

I like the painted ones better....if any one can show a way to take that apart I would be greatful.

Probably just use silver plastidip with glossifier. (I want to do some stuff to my other car as well so it's not just wasted on that.)

No clue sorry, there was no info in the original thread. To me, the pain of having to remove them and having to buy paint and it looking like a cheap paint job wouldn't be worth less than $86 for the anodized ones.

Fair, but the vendor selling the anodized ones is horrible to work with so I don't want to support his business. I'm still hoping some cheap ones pop up from China or some other low cost supplier.
