Any other canadian feel left in the dark? Lol. Based on 24k and what a "base" wrx goes for (25,500 ish). A base brz in canada could be around the 30k cdn mark. Who knows what packages have WHAT for canada. Canadian spec'ed subarus are often VERY different. Example. For 2011 wrx. We had plasma blue while US didnt. We dont get lightning red thoufh. Even stereo and gps units differ. We usually get "winter packages" in base trim too. So if US seat heaters and wiper heaters are optional. Theyd be standard here.

He isn't saying anything definitive here. "Should" and "around" could mean he's still speculating, or at best Subaru giving ballpark figures. I don't think this proves the pricing of the BRZ at all.

The interesting thing he said though is that the front suspension is stiffer and the rear softer. That likely means the BRZ is more understeer-biased than the 86?
Seems like it. It may ride "cushier" too. I hope subaru NA doesnt make "upscale" chassis tweaks. Less buick more 22b please. Focus!

Subaru normally puts those in the arm rest.

The limited probably has 18 inch rims too...17 inch rims are standard on the Premium.

The arm rest? What a strange spot to put the USB Aux..

Thanks though!

Edit: Oh. Do you mean the center console near the arm rest behind the e-brake? If that's the case then.. that's a good spot. Lol

In terms of actual size I'd guess that they are the same as the WRX fronts (11.6"). The rears are a question mark though, the WRX aren't vented... STI is but I doubt they are using the 13"F and 12.6" rears from the STI.. it'd be awesome of they did though.. big heatsinks FTW
thanks

and it΄s the first time I΄ve read something about a LSD....never mentioned before

$24k = MSRP? You don't normally pay the full MSRP on new cars do you? + IF you can get the 2% off from being part of the Subaru VIP program (big IF, I know), that would be comparable to the rumored / hopeful Scion no-haggle prices for the base model. Confused.

Everyone is going to hate me but I for one might spring for the navi system (either car) if I can... my GPS signal in my phone gets lost when I put my phone down and I'm afraid that if I fuss with it too much a cop will stop me and issue me a ticket. And it's more convenient and easier to see. Plus, using the GPS app on my phone makes it harder for me to text while I drive. (kidding.)

There seems to be a few RX-8 guys on this forum, and by and large we seem to be more obsessed with the weight/track capabilities than average.

I don't believe they will have nav standard...I'm sure there will be an option to opt out of that..at least I hope so.

The BRZ Limited model adds leather seats with Alcantara trim, fog lamps, rear deck spoiler, 17-inch rims and vented discs (16" front, 15" rear)."
The Premium seems to be offering a lot of stuff for $24k...

At 24k how much do you thing it would cost to take one off a Dealer's lot with the mark up and stuff? about 26? I don't mind that there's Nav honestly if it's standard at 24K if it's an option then that's ok too.
