To revive an extinct thread....Figured I would share my experience as it was relevant.
First, little background...I have a vortech supercharger, had a LW crank pulley (currently replaced by fluidampr pulley), have a LW flywheel, LW driveshaft, shorter diff gearing, 2 way diff, and many more mods. I was running a LW flywheel (ACT) and LW crank pulley (Perrin) for, ahhh, probably 8K miles. Here was my experience: I did not have any CEL's or major issues, however, it was a bit rough to drive from a take off (jerky), as well as would idle like shit most of the time (constant AFR hunting), and on E85, would stall occasionally coming to a stop. I was confident it was not the tune, as my last tune did the same thing (delicious tuning) as my current tune (Moto-mike). I had always felt that the crank was a bit light from both ends and was causing these issues. Now, I had seen this thread a while back and bought the fluidampr pulley to replace my LW pulley when it was convenient. FINALLY, I replaced it two days ago. As I had suspected, all my issues went away. No more AFR hunting, smoother take offs, and no more stalling, car runs butter smooth at idle, etc. So, in summary, though the lightweight combo did not cause any CEL's or MAJOR issues, it definitely was not smooth, and certainly did not give any noticeable gains as compared to the annoyances it was causing me.

Only at idle. Cruise and WOT were perfect. I always keep a close eye on AFR's with my wideband.
It wasn't even minor AFR hunting, it would swing from low 13's to high 15's, the car would be revving at stop signs/stop lights. Kind of embarrassing at times... EDIT: Thinking about it more...I suppose I should say that it is a possibility that the combo did not cause this, but rather exacerbated the inherent idle/dip issues already present in these cars. Just a thought.

Probably would just need the idle stability calmed down a little to stop the "hunting" as it needs to overcome less inertia.

No known issues as of yet the crank trigger on the flywheel would only be a concern, but since it is a separate piece and not integrated into the flywheel there should not be any adverse effects.
