This is without tuning? I thought I read elsewhere that a lightweight flywheel and pulley combo could lead to a surging idle due to the ECU not being programmed to recognize the faster changes in crank speed?

How could all this be done without a tune an remain driveable?

Car drives without issue.
The car/ECU is still new. No one really knows until you do it.

But so far we have not seen any cel lights.

Can we get some in car driving videos of this car, i would like to see how it accelerates WOT and how the daily driveability stands.

These are nice gains but i want to see and hear if this is livable.

Thanks,

So let me get this straight. You're telling us that with this flywheel +pulley combo, you've managed to reduce drivetrain loss from ~24% (which is pretty standard for RWD platforms) to ~10%?
This is your story?

Palm, face. Face, palm. Ah, I see you've already met.

Fuck me. How do you expect to have any creditably if you post a light weight part but don't show the weight difference?

The runs are two months apart so that could be some of the issue.

Is the flywheel going to be available as a single part or only sold with a flywheel?

awesome gains with a flywheel, seems like the install wouldn't be too difficult with the position of the trans on the 86.

stock at 153 is 23percent loss considering a perfect engine and mustang dyno.

Clutch flywheel and pulley result in 10 percent loss yes but i think alot is going to have to do with the car both breaking in and dyno conditions between the two months/calibration.

Just my 2 cents though
