Has Hanakuso provided any update on if the changes helped the rather bouncy ride on the street?

A bit of a hassle if you only have one car for sure, but that sounds like even more of a hassle unless Eibach was willing to do so directly.

Same here, except that I blew up the clutch on the ITR at Sebring over the weekend.. need to fix that first, but I'll also be out of town for work for a week and a half or so sucks.

I'm glad they are willing to fix the issues but yeah it sucks when your BRZ is your daily driver...just a lot of time to get things right. I'm down to just one car now. I want to do a SCCA event later this month at Summit Point too.

I just want to commend the folks at Eibach for taking us seriously on our feedback. Really a stand-up company to provide updates for their customers like this. We all know how hard it is for even Subaru to issue recalls.

Hopefully this worked out well for Eibach too. They can save future costs by not including the helper springs and providing a rubber bushing for the rear top hat. I just hope I don't have to go thru this whole thing again and will probably wait until I hear more feedback before installing mine.

Does anyone know what's this spacer for? Does this mean droop travel is decreased since the helper springs were taken out?

Dangit! Now i have to figure out how much shipping would cost from me to Eibach. At least now we have a solution for this. I wonder if Eibach would also replace the ERS springs that i just got.

Please contact me via email with subject line “ Coilover Update – your name here”. Please include your contact and mailing info, as well as proof of purchase so we may issue an RGA and a call tag for pick up. Call tags issued take 24-48 hours for pick up from FedEx. Please provide a pick up address where there will be no issues picking up the product during business hours. *Once your kit arrives, turn around for the update will be 2-3 business days. *If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask!

Now my problem is proof of purchase because all I have is a PayPal receipt that doesn't say what I bought... I can't believe they won't take the serial # on the coils!

I got to drive around yesterday and today. Noise wise it's much better. A lot less clunking and what is left is barely noticeable to me and it could just be the brakes.

I'm not 100% if I have all the updates done to my set but I believe I do.

Before

After

Only have a picture of the rear after the change.

Hey Gang. I just want to thank everyone for their patience while we looked into your requests.

To answer a few questions: Yes we are covering freight to and from via FedEx Ground. We are prepared for any kits you decide to send back and are going to knock out the updates as quickly as we can. If you are concerned about turn around, we can apply the cost of ground shipping toward your freight and you may opt for expedited shipping and pay the balance (for return shipment only).

Regan, you are correct. Because we have removed the helper spring, we have added the droop spacer to keep the main spring from unloading and banging around at full droop.

Kmurph, that's a great question, I recieved your email but would like to put this Response out here for others to see as well. Because this is not a matter of defective parts, these updates do not fall under warranty parameters and are not eligible for any type of refund. We will do what we can to work with individuals and find the best solution possible.

Mario, just send me what you got. Let me see what I can do.

For those who have not personally contacted me and have decided to update their kit please read:We would like to announce that there have been some updates to our coilover systems for the Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ.
