Very interesting. My kit uses a pipe from the reducer, then a coupler in the area of the headlight that is partially squished from the headlight, and then goes into another pipe and then the coupler that connects to the intercooler. I have never checked to see if the coupler collapses at all.

I noticed in the intructions on their BRZ it had different piping like how you're describing, i think you got one of the earlier kits that use that set up, but now they send one long silicone coupler that replaces the whole upper pipe, i think when the coupler is that long its more flexible and easier to kink and collapse under vacuum, I think yours should be fine

When do you experience the jerkyness and hesitation? Can you describe the situation in more detail?

Well, just to clarify, it doesnt happen anymore :P, but when it did, it would be after letting cool down, then probably the first mile or until its warm, when you would try to lightly accelerate in first and second and third, car would randomly hesitate like power just cuts out real quick, and it would buck a bit too, only happened down low with light driving, if you rev it higher and floor it and drive it hard, power felt smooth, i wonder if the coupler was collapsing randomly under light driving because its was still in vacuum. But it is definitely good now

This. Only noticed it in 1st/2nd and under light driving. I haven't noticed the issue after the first ~3-4 minutes the car is warming up. I've gotten the "WT* is wrong with your car" from the few passengers that felt it.

I need to install the radiator soon so I'll certainly try and take pictures, but that might not be until this weekend.

Nothing aftermarket, I just took apart the stock vent assembly, took the fin section out, and theres this circular mesh thing on the very back of the assembly, and I just mounted the gauge to that, maybe I'll take a photo of it when I get some time

Nice and thanks .. I will try to take it out to see if my gauge (52mm) fits.
