Basically what happened was that I was on my way to work, just doing normal driving when the car acted weird all of a sudden. Throttle just didn't respond and gradually slowed down to a stop and died. The cat cranks over smoothly but doesn't actually start. This has me thinking that it's a fuel system issue...as in not getting any fuel. I will be passed if the HPFP died, and will definitely be bringing my car in to have that replaced under warranty. Nothing I have done to my car would affect the pump. That said I highly doubt that it is the HPFP...it's more likely to be the pump I installed, which luckily for me I have a couple spares on hand!

Anyhow, just figured I'd post up here, I am hoping it's something simple because if it isn't ill be kissing my Corvette dreams goodbue, well at least for a little while.
I hope its something small too, because you've gotta take for a spin in the C7....you know how I love me some corvette!!! Plus it would just suck anyway since you put a bunch of work into your 86. Hope everything works out for ya.

Well after letting myself cool off after the car got towed I did a little preliminary troubleshooting and have discovered something: my fuel pump isnt priming when you turn the key to the on position. This is pretty much what I had figured the issue was, but I hadnt thought to listen for it until I had some time to get a little less pissed off. What is pretty likely to be the issue is that the wiring to the pump could have come undone from the connector splices I used, I really dont think they were made to be submerged in gas and may have disintegrated or the pump died. Either way, its no big deal, should have her up and running this Saturday so I can come hang out at Pavs!

Ok so this may be somewhere amongst our hundreds of pages but in no way am I ever going to find it. However does anyone remember who the individual is who had the idea for the arizona decal with the 86. I believe there were 2 decals. One with the 86 logo on the side and one with the 86 logo as the "O" in Arizona. Thanks.
