Talked to the guys at the kart track here. Turns out the 22nd of june is their normal autosport track day, so anyone able to is welcome to come down and have a go at the track. The 29th we'll still need to get enough people to justify our own track day. It looks like the 29th will be nearly impossible to get enough cars (~30) to justify renting the track out for ourselves, we'll probably end up just crashing the 22nd of June autosport track day and as many people as possible can come if you're able.

Let's have a list who's going. I'm a go as long as it's a weekend

That would be really cool, but I think they will have a hard time getting F1 there. With COTA in Austin and a possible road coarse in NJ in the future, I think it would be quite some time before F1 goes somewhere else in the US.

But, it would be really cool to have it so close!

So today my car died. Well it's not so bad as that, the engine is fine as far as I can tell and the turbo seems fine too. I'm waiting for a tow back to my house where it will sit in the garage until I can work on it this weekend.

Basically what happened was that I was on my way to work, just doing normal driving when the car acted weird all of a sudden. Throttle just didn't respond and gradually slowed down to a stop and died. The cat cranks over smoothly but doesn't actually start. This has me thinking that it's a fuel system issue...as in not getting any fuel. I will be passed if the HPFP died, and will definitely be bringing my car in to have that replaced under warranty. Nothing I have done to my car would affect the pump. That said I highly doubt that it is the HPFP...it's more likely to be the pump I installed, which luckily for me I have a couple spares on hand!

Anyhow, just figured I'd post up here, I am hoping it's something simple because if it isn't ill be kissing my Corvette dreams goodbue, well at least for a little while.
