Thank you
This is about as good as it gets... I would take more for you but the bumper is on and hopefully will not have to come back off.

It is just sitting in between the AC condenser and bumper beam, resting on top of the intercooler. Than we made those little brackets on top and attached it to some metal tabs on the radiator so it cannot move around. There were only two options of where to put it. Where it is currently, and behind the passenger fog light which would require longer lines and a much more complex bracket system.

Parts used -
Mocal thermostatic sandwich plate, 19 row oil cooler, 2 - 45 degree 10AN fittings, 2 90 degree 10AN off the oil cooler, and a whole bunch of 10AN line.

If you do not want to have it sandwiched in between the bumper beam and condenser you can use a 16 row core which should be able to sit on top of the bumper beam. We tried that initially but the fittings on top hit the radiator support.

How do you think the spool compares to the gtx2867?

Also any rough idea how much the full brembo swap with powercoating ran?

Not sure, I have never driven a car with a GTX2867. Garrett turbo's never really impressed me to much performance wise, although they are very reliable. What I can tell you is this thing spools fast and hard. From a rolling start in 1st or 2nd gear it will roast the tires.

There is a HUGE variance in parts costs. I knew what I wanted to spend on the project and had to be very patient because of that. I did it for about $1000 front and rear. If I went out and paid what many were asking for the calipers, and bought the rebuild kits at the dealer, and my buddy didn't do powder coating in his shop than probably around $3000.

Hit me up if you need caliper seal kits, or other caliper replacement parts. I can save you a ton of money in that alone since I figured out non-Brembo replacement parts for everything. My buddy spent around $500 from the dealer in just seals and minor crap when he rebuilt his brakes.

1 caliper seal from dealer = $85
1 caliper seal kit from me = around $20

Anyway we really wanted to do a big brake kit of some sort on this car, the stock brakes, at least looks wise do not cut it, the next cheapest nice looking big brake kit we saw available was the Essex AP kit or the Stoptech ST-40/ST-22 kit, both which cost way more than what we spent. I would say that if you get the front and rears done for <$2000 you are in good shape. My advice be patient and get the calipers as cheap as you can, even if they are beat up, have stripped threads, and need to be rebuilt. Than hit me up and I will set you up with all the stuff to rebuild them, rotors, and pads. Than you just need to have them coated and bolt them on.

Car spools really fast and pulls really hard, I think we made a perfect choice on the turbo selection. I am scared to see what E85 is going to feel like.

I took some video's and pictures which I will post later, I just got home a few minutes ago, in desperate need of a shower.

That's great to hear! I bet that is going to be amazing on e85, shoot, 295 would make me happy by itself!

Starting to save now lol.

Anyway you could get driving on the street videos such as pass bys, in car, etc?

I'd like to know the difference in feel between the full blown 2871r stage 1 and the full blown with this turbo! I know one of the full blown cars put down 310whp on a dyno jet I believe at only 8-8.5psi I realize the mustang dyno reads low on many cases. Also I'd like to know if this turbo pulls all the way to 7500-8000 rpm and what power rating it has! The full blown 2871r did like 453whp maxed out at 17psi. Awesome car by the way and good numbers!

I was actually able to fit a 25 row oil cooler between the condenser and the intercooler. It required some spacers to move the condenser and koyo radiator back a bit, but it worked well.
