Actually, the Honda Fit is a blast to drive, very light and precise steering feel, good shifter (manual), and surprisingly roomie. It's not comparable to the FR-S, but not a bad car.

With basic bolt-ons and tunes, people are getting 230hp to the wheels with the k20z3. Not only that, but it revs over 1000rpms higher than the boxer engine, and when tuned correctly has a much more accessible power band. It's a much better motor.

I had an '07 Civic Si before I had the Evo, Si's engine and navi are the only things I liked about the car.

I had an accord V6.. Great motor! Seriously smooth with good torque and linear power. But the car itself based on the engine is horrible. It plows in corners, they use huge amounts of torque management to hold the engine back to avoid torque steer and slippage and to save the tranny.. A great engine looking for a home.. I traded that V6 in for the 4 cyL EX-L version.. A much better engine for that platform.. The engine is only part of the equation... |

I had a 2008 Civic LX. I wife ask if I was sure I wanted to trade it in. Everybody knows how well I took care of it. After me and my wife drive off the lot, she had this big smile on her face. I don't miss th Civic. Enjoy the car.

Revs higher...so what? Understeers like a boat...nothing close to what the Si USED to be. The K20 is a great motor but the Si is NOT a great car overall. If it were wouldnt you be driving it rather then the 86?

edit: and if you've driven a Civic Si, you'd notice that it definitely does not oversteer like a boat. It even goes around the track (barely) faster than the FRS. Still has power to the wrong wheels though. |

. When I do drive conservatively, I average about 30-32 mpg. Now I have stickier tires, it's hard to resist
