So the premium BRZ has nav and hids over the base frs. I am going limited BRZ since I want everything. I will go frs if I can get hids and push start and it's substantially less than the premium BRZ. You ain't lived till you had alcantra coddling your backside! But I heard the cloth seats are good too. All the pics your have seen of the BRZ are the limited trim. |

That kind of attitude won't be allowed to pervade here. I encourage everyone to report those types of posts. |

The reason I am going with the BRZ is because Subaru is sporting the GT300. I find it beyond cool to own a car that has a race car to the level of Super GT based upon it. Also, given the fact that it will be in the GT300, I believe that it will have a lot of nice factory performance parts from STI to choose from.
I also am a supporter of the fact that Subaru did the engineering on this car, and that is why I wan't to own a Subaru built by Subaru, and not a Toyota built by Subaru. No doubt that this car shines in every aspect of continuing the heritage of the original Hachiroku, however I just like the Subaru badging more than the Scion (since I cannot get the Toyota in the states :/)

Since there is no firm pricing and options/specs set on either side, I would just wait and see. We do not know if base on the same options Subaru would be cheaper or not. Price/options aside, I like the front end of fr-s, but I also like the interior of high-end 86. If I can put all the options just like that in 86 (scion high end or Subaru limited) whichever is cheaper is the one I want. If they are the same price, go for fr-s for personal preference.

I am sure there will be parts that are going to be swappable..do we know which ones exactly? No, just going to have to hold tight (just like people keep saying Subaru Impreza parts, or IS (dif parts) etc.. have to see. If they do and there are "stronger" parts/options I am sure people will do them.
