Badge whoring...

And what is this more grip BS I'm hearing. From what I've read the BRZ just understeers more than the FR-S, just like all Subaru's. That doesn't make it more "grip oriented."

If it goes Understeer-->Nuetral Grippiness-->Oversteer, then I suppose going a little left from a car we hear is very easy to oversteer would put us more in the middle wouldn't it?

JDM girls are hotter bc all we get in the states are import models. Or ones that are made locally.

As for the original question:
-Price (exclusivity, ie not a teen car)
-push start button
-HIDs
-leather/suede
-17" w/summer tires
-will "match" my WRX

- Fogs and LEDs
- Digital HVAC
- Black Tachometer
- Subaru VIP program
- I typically favor STI parts prices over TRD parts prices
- Satin White Pearl

It's more complicated than this, think about the fact that you can oversteer and understeer in the same corner. It doesn't work as if by turning the oversteer dial down = linear increase in understeer.

BTW, not trolling, I'd rather have the BRZ interior, but it all depends on price.

For me the BRZ is at the top of my list over the FRS now is mainly the fact that the interior is better looking. The center stack is fugly in the FRS.

It's in the BRZ Premium model too LOL

U mad?

Anyway, I would pick the FR-S simply because (bare bones > luxury) . . . I don't need navigation, fog lights, or hid. I also prefer the lines of the FR-S.

However if a turbo was to ever come out I would jump on it, regardless of brand...

i want the BRZ because of the Brand Name to be honest.
I know it sounds stupid to most people, but it feels more
unique to me. I just wanted to eliminate the "common" car
in the street. More people would buy the FRS, i know it already.

BRZ because ...

Interior - I know that's a shock given my recent posts. This will be a DD and I refuse to be surrounded by an interior that looks like I'm driving a low priced rental
Front end - not at first, but the more I have compared the two, the BRZ seems to have a more fluid lines.
Tach - white is ok, but black gives a more upscale look, plus I love the red backlight at night, which I assume will not be possible with white tach
Lights - front and back end lights are much better IMO
Ability to negotiate - I enrolled in VIP program when I first read about it here (thanks) and will be eligible when the car is released. Even if it is not honored, I think it will give me leverage.
Color options
Availability - Based on the "95%" who are looking to get an FRS for financial reasons.

Summary - except for the mechanics, this is just the higher end car.
