They go on the same as the OEM sides, but have more of a handle to grab it. I give it 5 minutes with a bit of cord or something to help pull it off and someone determined. My OEM came off with a ziptie and 10 minutes of trying to be careful.

A lock is only there to keep an honest man honest. If someone wants it, they're gonna take it.

Yep, took me about 1 minute per side with the OEM fender trim. Per the instructions I used a small bit of string and a clip removal tool.

Love how these look but wish they didn't say TRD on them.

Can't wait until replicas are made.

Front fender aero fin

I put on the front fender part at the heart of aerodynamic in racing cars and GT.
Raises the down force, a sense of stability in cornering and straight-line stability is improved.

Dry Carbon (to clear weather painted)
2 piece set left and right

Thanks for the review Beyer and the high quality pics. I was looking for these too after seeing the TRD Griffon concept, imo that's one of the most badass build to date. These fins with some aftermarket mirrors truly spice things up.

I am curious where you bought them. Lot of people here keep saying these costs $500 a piece... japanparts.com have these are less than $500 for a pair. Unless they are lying..? If not then with shipping, a pair of these fins should only costs around $550 or so.

Thank You for the kind words. Yep, after I saw the Griffon I was pretty much sold and waiting.

I got em from japanparts.com. They are my go-to for pretty much my whole build. I'm in constant contact with them as far as adding product that we all like to look at, drool over and/or purchase. Yep, they are sold by the pair. That was a clarification that I had them add to the description on jparts because it looked like they were selling at 500 a pop.

Oh man, this will probably be my next exterior mod. How long did it take to ship over from Japan?

Very promptly. They were projected to arrive in 60-70 days. That dropped to 20-30 and they were delivered in a matter of around two weeks. Shipping costs from Japan is the absolute worst thing with these parts but the stuff almost travels through time to get here ASAP.

Oh yeah, that's an added benefit. They cool the mirrors down so much that I don't even need to get an aftermarket mirror cooler now! The EGT's on the mirrors have dropped significantly.

Back in March when it was coming out I was thinking about buying this but for the cost of them it was too rich for my blood. I also thought they would pertrude out a but too much but they look just right! Looks amazing!

Most likely they use a OEM Part and then Apply or paste the CF Over it for best fitment.

Yep. It doesn't really matter who, what, when, where, how. It came in a Toyota Technocraft box and the ABS portion of the part has Subaru stamped into it. They coulda made the whole thing or just the ABS.

The quality is again what I would expect of an aerospace division.

I've had a lot of Toyota boxed parts come in with Subaru stamped on em. As long as they are all getting along, we will all benefit from their relationship.
