TRD Front Fender Aero Fin

http://trdparts.jp/conceptcar/86_per...line/aero.html

Per Google Translate:
Front fender aero fin

I put on the front fender part at the heart of aerodynamic in racing cars and GT.
Raises the down force, a sense of stability in cornering and straight-line stability is improved.

Dry Carbon (to clear weather painted)
2 piece set left and right
TRD logo
※ installation and replacement fender garnish genuine.

But seriously, I love what you've done with your car, but that doesn't look good.

Ummm, duh? Of course. I dropped a minute of my Nordschleife lap times. It's impregnated with jdm fairy dust that helps drop the Cd below a Ferrari Enzo and adds 1,000lbs of downforce to each side of the car.

It's a love it or hate it kinda mod. It's definitely rice at it's finest. I've never owned anything carbon fiber much less OEM, dry carbon fiber. I was gonna put feelers out before I installed but once it was on loose, I swooned.

I've never been a fan of raw carbon but this piece is small enough that it doesn't really bother me.

Yep. I've got more on the way. Are you the guy I met at Brady's meet? If so, you really helped me connect with my inner ricer. You might remember some of the ideas we were tossing around. Most should come to pass in the next couple of weeks.

Yep, I always like to have as many cupholders on the outside of the car as possible.

I don't even know? Didn't think to remove it. I'll go check and see if it's impregnated or a decal/paint.

The quality of the weave looks fantastic although part of me thinks it would look much better painted.

It's in there permanently. It's under the clear coat.

The quality of the weave is what I would expect from FHI's Aerospace Division. Part of me feels the same but that's not the point of my car. I like the rawness of the body pieces and this unpainted. If it was a hood, trunk, roof, etc I would prolly paint it but this is staying as-is.

I like this, thanks for the post!

The fact that the fender vents are fake will bug the hell out of me till I replace them.

Thanks for the kind words! There are a host of different solutions. You can do:
OEM Suby w/ or w/o the Chrome Trim
JDM OEM Toyota has several versions
JDM OEM TRD Carbon
and the list goes on and on for aftermarket JDM versions Prova, Chargespeed, etc...

The hard part is just picking the one that works for you.
