Up for this question. Is there a reason to replace the stock sound tube with a silicone one? Doesn't seem to make sense to me. I might be missing on something though.

I happen to have the AVO inlet + sound tube. Not by choice, but because it cave as a set. From my experience the AVO sound tube seems to amplify the intake noise and add some additional aggressiveness to it all, but I could be wrong side I changed it my entire intake system from the Airaid to the AVO intake + sound tube and the drop in filter.

I bought just the main pipe without the sound tube. It's more for aesthetics than anything else, makes the whole setup look like one complete part. That didn't bother me, especially as I got a black pipe.

Would the AVO main pipe accommodate our stock sound tube easily? I mean, should the pipes require any modifications to be connected to each other?

Yes, they will work with each other. No mods needed.

This is exactly what i have in mind. I know there wont be any significant increase (if any) in hp or torque. But did you personally notice any difference in throttle response?

I put a panel filter in at the same time, so yes the throttle response was improved and you could hear some extra noise.
