Thanks Adam! Once I get back to Chicago, I'm going to start working on the paddle shifters some more. I'll keep you posted.

Out of curiosity, are there people out there that would want to try and bond and assemble the wings themselves to save money? It would be a price difference of about $800 or so.

I'll be in for the pylon tow hook mount wing. Probably next year, though, lol. Middle class problems.

Definetly like the idea of some assembly required to save money.

It's not too difficult but it is labor intensive. You need:
To sand the inner surface and the ribs to scuff them for a good bonding surface A good, clean flat surface to work on (granite kitchen counter would be perfect) Some 1/8" aluminum strips and clamps from a hardware store Epoxy would be supplied. I would also recommend wet sanding and clear coating the wing because we use prepreg so there is no UV resistant gel coat. The cure time to work with the wing is about 24 hrs, but it takes about a week for it to fully cure to a usable condition. Because it takes so long and there is so much labor involved, we can cut costs significantly if the end user is up to the task of assembly. The package would come with: 72" prepreg, autoclave formed carbon fiber skin 4 aluminum ribs 2 aluminum mounts 2 72" aluminum rods roll pins epoxy end plates standard, bottom mounted aluminum uprights (pylon) steel base plate fasteners You can also upgrade the aluminum ribs and uprights for Tegris ribs and aluminum rod for carbon fiber rods to further reduce weight and increase strength and stiffness as an additional option. We can also upgrade to a swan neck style as well as an additional option. I should have final numbers within a week but for the DIY'ers we're hoping to sell the kit for about $2000. A bit pricey, but it is the highest quality wing you can buy. This very same wing has been used to take wins in international GT racing series across the world. Also, you can make it fully your own, the length is modular, the upright type and distance is modular, even the build materials are modular. As always, everything is made and sourced in the USA so once we place the build order, it usually takes four weeks or less to receive.

Interested in a rear diffuser more than a wing. Plans on that? Another thread perhaps?
