Just curious, but what makes you want that specific wing?

I have a question.. If making the tow hook mounted wing, why couldn't you use a "reverse" swan neck mount, after seeing the benefits, I don't understand why a mount that came behind the wing and attached to the top, wouldn't work as good as coming in front of the wing and mount on top.. I didn't like the swan neck at first, after seeing it in person and find out the benefits, I think all performance applications will move to it, and "just for looks" will stay traditional mounted..

Also I would be very very interested in a "GTR" style spoiler.. One that flows well with the car, and not to tall

It's beautiful and much less crazy than a BCL wing ... which is not even available yet

That was a quick rendering to show the concept. We haven't finalized the design. The SEW V1 will likely retain a swan neck mount, the SEW V2 will retain the bottom mount.

Picture of said STI for reference

Thoughts and opinions welcome. Remember, we won't really get to start development until late summer-early fall so please stay patient with us.
So we're looking at a wing design here that has a somewhat low profile off the trunk
but but wouldn't block so much of the view out of the rear window? I'd like to see this once you got to the rendering phase. But there are too many wing designs that are cool but the spoiler cuts right across the middle of your rear view making it difficult to see details like light bars on the cars behind you.

Also, it would be interesting to see what a big Wangan-style wing would look like on this car if you were looking for other avenues to explore.

That is correct. I have an STI and when I had the OEM wing it bugged the hell out of me because I couldn't easily see what was behind me. So we are keeping that in mind, but even then it depends on the seat, seating position, and driver's height. So we cannot accommodate for every driver, but we will do our best to keep a low height.

How about one high enough where it doesn't block?

I visited our in autoclave carbon fiber manufacturer today.

The skin, ribs, and mock-up mounting brackets for the SEW V2

A close up of where the sheets join at the center of the wing

The weave is not lined up because it takes a lot of time and care to do so, which adds to the cost. We can line it up if the customer wants, but it is an additional charge.

The CNC'd aluminum mold

Me and their big autoclave (I'm about 5'6" or 167 cm for reference)

There are not many other manufacturers that can do what our manufacturer does. They regularly do aerospace, military, and motorsport products. I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the military or aerospace stuff, but I was able to take a picture of the front end of a LMP1 car

We are proud to show off our engineering and manufacturing partners' capabilities. We don't try to hide it or tip-toe around it. I promise you, our products are not only engineered to strict standards, but our manufacturers are of the highest quality. This is why we can offer our 3 year warranty with motorsport included with confidence.

Which wing are you referring to? The SEW V2 is available for sale and if you know how you want to mount it, we can accommodate. If you are looking for an off-the-shelf solution, it should be ready in a few weeks.

If you are referring to the street spoiler, it won't be ready until at least the end of summer.
