I suspect our tank has a sender that is operated with a float like most cars. When the float reaches the top of the tank, the float stops but you will be able to fill more. All my previous cars ( analogue fuel gauge) acted like that. I had to drive about 50 km to see the needle droping. I will check in the next days after how many k's torque will show a drop in fuel level. |

I'm sure that is the case. It also explains why nearly all fuel gauges stay at full for quite a few miles before starting to fall.

Ok someone make this custom pid.
Miles remaining on tank. As long as you can use variables returned from other pids already, it should work....I think (Fuel remaining %) * (13.2 gallon tank) * (current mpg) Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2 |

It wouldn't trust it. I monitor the fuel remaining % regularly for autocross, and it's highly variable. Seems to change with how hard you drive the car. Though you could compensate for that with a less variable mpg number...

The slushing around of the fuel probably threw it off. I was thinking more for freeway or street use which would probably be more accurate. Would have liked it on my Prescott drive yesterday.

I still cant get the oil temp reading to work. Torque Pro, Nexus 4, AGPtek® Super Mini ELM327.
I'm following the guide on the first page, all my settings are the same. What should I try next? I entered in the PID and it still isn't registering. |

Take a screen shot of your settings.
Something I have seen others do is to select the supplied oil temp gauge when adding a display. Make sure you use the custom named one you built. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2 |

Can someone tell me how I tell Torque to stop logging g? In my logs it displays "G(x),G(y), G(z),G(calibrated)" even though I do not have any of those values listed in the "Select what to log" options.

I was wondering if any one of you know of known issues with ELM327 Minis going bad after a while?
My android can still find the Bluetooth device (ELM327) and when I select it, it prompts me with to enter the code, which I input. My cell phone shows connecting/pairing with the device for a split second and then drops the pairing, without connecting! I've tried many times, on many different days, unplugging and plugging back, etc, and still the same. So to locate the problem, I gave my phone and my ELM327 to a friend and asked him to see if he can connect using my ELM327, his phone and his car. But no luck there either! What was even more strange is that he no longer can connect to his own ELM327 after I tried his elm in my car! He tried any combination of my cell phone or his cell phone, his ELM327 or mine, and no luck at all. The only thing I can think of is that these cheap ELM327 Minis go bad after a few use. There is a newer version V2.1 on Ebay now (the blue ones were V1.5). Not sure if the V2.1 is any better...? Your thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.
