I will like to buy some but I dont know if shipping will be expencive to Puerto Rico because I believe you cant use USPS that is the cheapest way for me to get parts.

DESCRIPTION:
Competition full synthetic transmission oil. A blend of full synthetic base oils incorporating new "Nano Technology" additive chemistry to significantly reduce internal frictional and power losses.

APPLICATION:
Use as received for the lubrication of competition transmissions and differentials which require API GL4 or GL5 performance. Suitable for use in synchromesh and sequential transmissions. Recommended for modern transmissions where full synthetic oil is specified, especially for high performance road and track day applications. For use in all dedicated track cars with synchronized transaxles, including clutch type limited slip differentials.

Some gear oils meet GF5 and GF4 and Motul Gear 300 is one of them.

GL-4; Specified for hypoid gear service under severe service but without shock loading. This classification is essentially obsolete but is still specified by some manual transmission/transaxle manufacturers. Implies an EP/AW additive package that contains 30% to 50% less S-P additives than the GL-5 service classification. In addition to EP additives, these lubes contain rust inhibitors, defoamants, friction modifiers, thickeners, and Viscosity Index Improvers.

I agree, so I transplanted the nipple from the Motul bottle (which I put in the diff.) to the Pentosin bottle to fill the trans. Worked nicely with no need for a transfer pump.

I've been using Pentosin MTF2 for about 8500 miles. I noticed an immediate improvement in shift quality. Good stuff.

Thanks for this thread, I found a deal on ebay for 6 quarts for $70 shipped. Its very convenient doing two cars and being able to use the same oil for diff and manual gear box.

FYI Motul 300 is a little on the thick side compared with some of the other popular choices.

I'm doing MT-85 tranny fluid change tomorrow along with the Perrin shift rod bushing. Hope it would make a big difference in shift feel.
