A lot more events are happening through the entire summer, both track and autoslalom...pretty much almost every weekend there's an event

Good to see some board members out - I was sans BRZ but I may have asked a few if you were on the board (as well as taking your lunch order). Sorry I wasn't available a lot for ride alongs/coaching but don't be afraid to ask at the next event - there were a few that looked lost at times.

Had so much fun!!!

Was there with my WRB BRZ on stock tires.

It was my first time driving my BRZ hard, so much different than my FWD Mazda 3 that I had last year.

Throughout the whole event, I had to decide whether to dedicate my run to getting a good time, or having fun. It was very hard to hold myself back knowing that all it took to put a smile on my face was to give the throttle a little push mid-turn.

Debating whether to delay the mounting of my Starspecs now

If you want to kick the tail out some more without having to get more power I would hold off on the starspecs...I've got my Z2's on and it definitely takes a lot more effort to push the tail out with the grip that I get

congrats on inching me out by a few tenths, I thought I had "2nd place" frs down when you nabbed it in the 5th run, then I blew the stopbox on my 6th which might have clinched back my spot but alas.

I say keep your stock tires, might as well get some use out of them and learn the car. THis might give Edward his class FTD but whatever.

Thanks

When I heard the computer announce 46.x it took me by surprise as I wasnt really expecting to shave off that much time off my previous run.

I'm going to keep the stock tires for at least until mid-season. I think if I were on better tires, it would have shaved my time by 1.5-2 seconds. Being on my 3rd year of autocross, I realize how important it is to learn the car before making changes...and how stickier tires hide mistakes.

Sounds like PITL was a blast, too bad I missed it, I'll be there for the next event for sure.

I went to TLMC on sunday and the weather was absolutely terrible, which was a shame because the track was pretty quick. I left at noon, I wasn't dressed for the occasion lol.

@7thgear I think we spoke briefly but I didn't know you were driving the white FRS

For everyone else, I had an absolute blast at the event great fun. Saw a couple of other FR-S and BRZ there too but I was being anti social....lol
Hey yea that was me. Was a fun event. The light actually screws into a tiny piece of plastic in the bumper and the screw kinda ripped through it which is why it kept popping out. Stupid design, but should be an easy fix. There were a lot of you FRS/BRZ's out there. The one guy in the BRZ was sliding it around all over the place (on purpose I believe)!
