June Road trip to Vegas for 86EXPO

Stuck thread, this needs attention for our first annual national meet.

Portland to Reno is going to take you over 9 hours. If you leave from Seattle it will take an additional 3 hours. 12 hours of driving just to stay at a hotel. You can make it to Twin, save yourself 30 minutes and enjoy some burgers and beer at my place. I have 3 bedrooms and a home theater room you can stay in for free. Plus a backyard you can always pitch a tent in (I have two). Did I mention the beer and hot tub? People in Utah can come up too if you want. I know it's going the wrong way initially.

@DarrenDriven - please add this information to the first post.
@BRZPDX and I are planning on making it a 2 day run to Vegas. On 6/12/13 (Wednesday) we will leave Portland at 9 AM sharp so the Seattle folk will have time to make it here without having to wake up too early. We will be staying the night in Reno and then continuing to Vegas on Thursday. For the Eastern OR, Eastern WA, & ID peeps lets meet in Reno on Wednesday night and then leave for Vegas at 8 AM.

Meet at my place in Tigard to roll out. There's a gas station on the way to the interstate so we can stop there and top off all the cars and grab road food after leaving my place. If enough people want to show up early, say 8:00, I'll make breakfast.

URG!! ok, so im pressed for cash since its my daughters birthday this month, which means i might not be able to afford a plane ticket ($300-$400 round trip).

Anyone have an empty seat that is driving down? Willing to work something out.

you can always play a single deck or double deck black jack table, and re-coupe your money .

Once we get there, we may need to find a detailer in Vegas since our cars will be covered in insects and road tar.

I will be staying at my friends house Thurs/Fri, and MGM on Sat so we can chill at the pool and check out Hakkasan!!

I may, just don't know the exact schedule yet. I'm flying back from the Wicked Big Meet on the East Coast literally a day before having to drive down to Vegas for this. I'm not sure I even get a full day, may be arriving from the east coast in the morning, and driving to vegas in the evening...
